Viking Days

Curtis High School - VIKING DAYS

VIKING DAYS will be held in the CHS Main Office Building from 8:00am-3:00pm on August 13 & 14, 2024.

The purpose of Viking Days is to allow students to take school pictures and complete standard school business prior to the beginning of the school year. Having all forms filled out in advance will help expedite the process. All student fines must be cleared in order to participate in Viking Days. Fines may be paid in advance online, or at Viking Days, see below for more payment details.


The following must be completed by a parent who is part of Family 1 before or at Viking Days.
 Family 2 cannot see this option which includes LWO families.
~Online Demographic and Emergency Info Update in Family Access. (Not available in Student Access). The process takes you through required back to school updates and optional items such as: paying fines, purchasing items, and applying for free/reduced meals. During Viking Days computers are available at CHS, in the District Office, or the UP Public Library.


~Green Student Health Record (included in this packet) If your child has asthma, a severe allergy, diabetes, seizure disorder, or other potentially life-threatening health conditions, you must provide current doctor’s orders each new school year and communicate with the school nurse to update or create an individual health plan for your child. Your child will not be able to attend school, any school activities or participate in athletics until the necessary orders and medications are provided.

 

Payments/purchases may be completed before Viking Days online (recommended) or during Viking Days at the student accounts office.

  • SCHOOL FINES Note: CJH fines must be cleared at Curtis Jr. High before coming to Viking Days.
  • SCHOOL A.S.B. CARD ($50.00) Including 9 th Graders Playing Sports @ Curtis High School
  • Note: ASB cards are free to students qualifying for free / reduced priced meals that have completed their 2024-25 application and Consent to Share form. Please complete both items prior to purchase
  • CLASS FEES/AP EXAM $40 DEPOSIT PER TEST (total cost TBD)
  • SCHOOL YEARBOOK $50/after Dec 20, 2024, $60
  • PARKING PERMITS ($30.00/$20.00 starting Jan 30, 2025, 2 nd semester) Assigned parking spaces are limited and passes will only be sold in person. Students must have a current driver’s license in order to purchase and can only purchase during your scheduled date/time.
