  • Abby Follen & Sofia Banuelos’ 37’s, lead girls golf to victory over Bonney Lake yesterday, 107-79. 

 

  • The Curtis Boys Water Polo Team defeated Bellevue 6-5 on a rainy night at the outdoor pool of Woodridge.  Curtis was down early 0-3, but scored 6 unanswered, eventually bringing home the W. Conner Williams had 9 saves in the cage, including a big 5 meter block.  Axel Newman and Sam Kiehl each tallied 2 goals.  JV dominated the second of a double header, defeating the Wolverines by a score of 13-1.  Great job Viks!

 

  • Hispanic Heritage Tailgate coming soon! Join ALAS and leadership before the football game on October 2nd, from 2:45-3:45 for food, beverages, games, and music! Remember to drop your backpack off at home before coming as you can not take any bags into the football game with you!

 

  • Do you want to help make decorations for homecoming? Come to the leadership room (307) after school TODAY, September 30th, and TOMORROW, October 1st from 2:15-3:00 to gain some service hours and decorate the school!

 

  • This week is food waste reduction week. Come talk to the environmental club students at lunches to learn about how you can help prevent food waste and reduce the impact of wasted food on the planet. Students will also be collecting food waste at the end of lunches to go into the school compost.

 

  • The next NHS/Red Cross Blood Drive is next Thursday, October 8 from 8-2 pm. You can sign up to donate at lunches. Students between 16-18 must fill out permission forms that are available at the lunch table or room 404. One donation can save three lives and you get an hour of community service and snacks at the end. Sign up to donate today!

 

  • NHS tutoring starts this week. Tutoring is after school from 2-3 in room 404 on Tuesdays-Thursdays. Tutoring is available for all subjects and is drop in, so you do not need to stay for the full hour.
