This course is a workshop/rehearsal/performance class designed for students who enjoy performing and are highly motivated. The emphasis of the course will be on helping actors create realistic, believable, engaging, truthful characters in performance. Theatre History, Elements of Production, Auditioning and Improvisation are some topics covered in this course. Students will develop imagination through theatre games, improvisation, pantomime, and characterizations. All students can expect to be on stage almost daily participating in a game, exercise, giving a presentation or performing a scene or monologue.
