The boys golf team squeaked out a victory against Olympia on Thursday. The final score was actually tied, but Curtis won the tie-breaker, securing the victory.
The team finished the regular season with a league record of 7 -1, good for second place in the SPSL.
Next up for the Vikings is the league tournament October 25th and 26th.


Last Night the Curtis Vikings defeated the Vikings from the Puyallup Valley 17-3.  Sean O'Boyle scored 6 goals and Logan Kwon added 6 assists. The team is back in action Saturday morning against division rival,
Roosevelt.  10am Varsity, 11am JV."


Boys bowling starts Thursday, October 24th.  Please meet at Tower Lanes at 3:00.  You will need to register on the CHS website under athletics, make sure you have a current physical in the athletic office, have no fines, and have purchased an ASB card before you will be allowed to bowl.


All 10-12 grade girls ready to hoop this season, listen up!  If you are interested in playing high school girls basketball, please join Coach Viggers in the Gym Classroom on Monday, October 21st during your lunch to learn about the season.  Go Viks!   Questions? See Ms. Vick


There is a girls bowling interest meeting today at 2:15 in coach Brambila's room 207.  Registration online is now open.  The first day of bowling is November 4th at Narrows Plaza.  This is a non-cut sport and all levels of experience are welcome.  Come out to the meeting and find out more!  Go Viks!    




Art Club meets today at 2:00 in room 501.


SkillsUSA is a great start for the real world. It's a club that focuses on employability skills through video production and photography. It's a fun place to get involved in creating video, learning the software, taking photos on field trips, meeting people and having fun.  It looks great on your resume and college app.  Come to room 308 today to check us out.  You'll be glad you did.



AP students:  Please pay your deposit of at least $40 per exam to Ms. Bibby in Student Accounts by the November 1st deadline.  If you have free or reduced lunch, your exams are free, no deposit required.  See Ms. Edwards with any questions.  "If you would like to take an AP exam for a class you are not currently enrolled in, you must see Ms. Edwards before November 1st." 




College & Military visits at CHS:

  • Johns Hopkins University will visit CHS during first lunch Monday, October 21st

    The CCRC is hosting an after-school field trip to the Tacoma College Fair on the evening of Wednesday, October 30, 2019:

  • Over 100 local and national colleges/universities will be attending the Tacoma College Fair at the University of Puget Sound.
  • Return signed parent permission forms to the CCRC Room 103 by  FRIDAY, October 25th.
