Curtis G JV Tennis defeated Kent Meridian 5-0  The Viks had a great match with a stand out performance from Joy Park who won at Number 1 6-0, 6-0. The viks went on to win 10 of their 12 exhibition prosets. It was a strong team performance all around.

 

Congratulations to the Girls Water Polo Teams on their two victories at Bainbridge Island.  JV won 15-1 and varsity held on to a 9-5 to defeat the Spartans in the double header at BI.  In the varsity game, May Guidoux and Gretta Bellin combined for 7 goals while Madison Sotomayor and Emma Atchison each added one.  The Viks are back in action tonight with another away game at Mercer Island at 8:20pm.  Good luck!"

 

The Viking boys basketball team, the Back2Back State Champions, have been invited to play in the State Champions National Invitational in Washington, DC during Spring Break for a National Championship. The Viks are currently ranked #35 in the entire nation.
The Vikings will take on #13 Roselle Catholic (NJ) on ESPN television in the quarterfinals on Thursday, April 6th. With a win, The Viks would then battle #21 Wheeler (GA) in the national semi-finals on Friday. April 7th. The national championship game is slated for Saturday, April 8th at 12:00noon EDT at McDonough Arena at Georgetown University, also on ESPN .

 

The boys golf team improved their record to 2-0 Wednesday, beating Rogers by the score of 202-234. Omer Avcular shot a personal best 1 over par, followed by Jason Chae and Teagan Oakes each with a 2 over par. The team’s next match is next Wednesday at Meadowpark Golf Course… come out and support! Go VIK

 

Final payment for AP exams is due by April 28th.  Pay online through InTouch or in person at student accounts.  See Ms. Edwards with any questions.

 

SENIORS! Our next senior meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, 3/29 at 8am in the theater. You will hear about the prom date and theme, prom guest passes, ticket sales and senior cap and gown pick up.  There will be light breakfast items in the cafeteria from 7:30-7:50am.  Please spread the work.

 

Coming up on Wednesday, March 29th, Curtis High School and the CCRC are hosting a Career & Community Fair from 5-7pm in the Gymnasium. All students and families are encouraged to attend. There will be over 60+ partners from the community, colleges, and career fields. Don't miss out on this opportunity to explore the many options available to you!

 

Key Club is raising money for the American Cancer Society and hosting a "Pay to Pie" event during lunches. Stop by the table in the lunchroom to donate and have the opportunity to "pie" one of the staff during the assembly. Currently ______  in the lead is"
