CHS Volunteer Service Award (50-99 Hours)

CHANGES FOR THE 2021 REQUIREMENT DUE TO COVID RESTRICTIONS:  The minimum requirement has been revised this year to 50-99 TOTAL HOURS completed from June 1, 2020 through May 1, 2021.

CHS students who volunteer 50-99 total hours of approved volunteer/community service from June 1, 2020 through May 1, 2021 may be eligible to earn a CHS Volunteer Service Award. (If students completed more than 100 hours, they will complete the CHS Varsity Letter in Community Service Application.)

STUDENTS MUST MEET THE FOLLOWING REQUIREMENTS (NO EXCEPTIONS ALLOWED):

Must be a Curtis High School student in grade 9, 10, 11 or 12

Must meet the 2.0 GPA minimum requirement (cumulative GPA end of first semester 2020/2021)

All volunteer/community service hours must be ENTERED in XELLO no later than May 1, 2021

Students are required to submit the online CHS VOLUNTEER SERVICE AWARD APPLICATION no later than 11:59pm on May 1, 2021 (Students will use their UPSD83 email address to access the application.)

NOTE: Students who apply for the CHS Varsity Letter in Community Service will automatically be considered for the CHS Volunteer Service Award.  (These students are not required to complete the CHS Volunteer Service Award Application.)
